Mighty Hoopla Sydney announces added lineup

Following the electrifying announcement last week that global superstar Kesha will headline the inaugural Mighty Hoopla Sydney on Saturday, February 21 in 2026 on famous Bondi Beach, the UK’s iconic celebration of pop and queer culture has just dropped its second wave of performing artists — and the lineup is nothing short of fabulous.

Joining the party will be Becky Hill, the chart-topping powerhouse behind dance anthems like “Lose Control”and “My Heart Goes (La Di Da)”; Australia’s own pop icons Delta Goodrem and Jessica Mauboy, both beloved for their powerhouse vocals and dazzling stage presence; reality TV royalty Countess Luann (yes, that Countess Luann from The Real Housewives of New York City), who will bring her signature cabaret glamour Down Under; rising UK star Rose Gray; and disco-pop maestro Tom Aspaul.

Landing in Sydney for the very first time, Mighty Hoopla promises an explosion of colour, camp, and unapologetic pop joy — a celebration where sequins meet singalongs and everyone is invited to the dancefloor. In addition to the above, joining across multiple stages will also be – The Blak Queen curated by the world-renowned original Darwin diva Miss Ellaneous with a special brand new First Nations showRocky Stallone (Ft. House of SilkyJamaica MoanaJubahlee & friends), Aunty TamaraDizzy Bility and many more fierce performers.

Mighty Hoopla Sydney will mark the festival’s first-ever Australian edition at Bondi Beach. Waverley Council Mayor Will Nemesh shared his excitement and support expressing, “Mighty Hoopla’s arrival in Bondi helps fulfil Council’s mission to bring the fun back to Waverley via stellar events and vibrant place activations that locals and visitors can enjoy. On top of that, an event like this brings significant direct and indirect economic windfalls for the local business community. Council’s careful management of events of this scale means we can ramp up the fun and maximise the benefits while minimising the impact on Bondi residents. We look forward to welcoming the international and local line-up of artists to our beautiful part of the world.”

After selling out annually in London’s Brockwell Park and becoming a defining moment of the UK’s pop festival calendar, all is set to bring its beloved blend of nostalgia, drag, and pure pop euphoria to Sydney.
