Tasmanian-born Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has delivered a heartfelt speech at the opening of the fourth annual IDAHO conference in Copenhagen,
held on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.

The beloved Danish royal called for greater unity among those in support of LGBTI rights. “We must be united in fight against discrimination,” she told this year’s conference (titled ‘Building Bridges and Alliances’) in an effort to secure “a life of dignity for all.”

It’s a busy time for Princess Mary and Prince Frederik, with the royal couple set to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary this coming Saturday.
