One of America's largest Pride events has announced it's June celebrations will be postponed due to the ever-increasing threat of the Corona Virus.
The organisation today released an announcement on its social channels.
"Due to the concerns of COVID-19 around large public events, CSW will postpone all events related to the 50th Anniversary of LA Pride that were scheduled for June 2020. Organizers are assessing the situation. More information will be provided around the postponement as details become available."
This follows announcements from other Californian based attractions that will be closing, like Disneyland - who will shut its doors of The Magic Kingdom and California Adventure theme parks until the end of this month after the states Governor declared large gatherings to not be preferable in the current health climate.
Guidetogay.com has reached out to other Pride organisers in the USA to see if similar postponements may take place as June is pride month throughout the USA.
