Sydney's Mardi Gras makes it onto the Monopoly Board

The Board game, Monopoly has announced its new Australian 'Sydney' edition - and with it comes extra points for having the best float in the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras!

Along with icons like the sydney Harbour Bridge, The Opera House and Bondi Beach - the iconic locations were selected from a wide ranging survey by the games creators via social media and other platforms.

Monopoly is played in 111 countries and in 43 languages around the world, the company said. The Sydney version is set to go on sale from November 1.
