DESCRIPTION:“Hopgood’s work depends as much on the awkwardness of his medium as on the novelty of the spectacle\,” wrote Adrian Searle\, art critic for The Independent.  \nBritish Artist\, Born of Welsh and Greek heritage\, Carl Hopgood attended Goldsmiths College in London\, England. He graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and First Class honors. \nHis first solo show at the UTA Artist Space Los Angeles brings together new and existing seminal sculptural works combining neon\, found objects\, installations and NFTs. \nFragile World reflects the impermanence of life\, the duality of human existence and the fragility and enduring strength of life itself. \n
