Jennifer Lopez to Executive Produce New Lesbian Themed TV Show

Dancing, Loving and Dancing may not be the only thing, chart superstar, Jennifer Lopez is doing this year.

The singer, actor, judge and all round entertainment powerhouse is also developing a lesbian themed family television drama, and according to reports she may also star in the series.

The as yet untitled series will focus on two overworked mothers, a police officer and a private school teacher, who have a biological son and two adopted kids. Their lives are turned upside down when a wayward teenage girl comes to live with them in the pilot.

As reported by Deadline, the American Idol judge is planning to guest star at some point during the series as well as be the Executive Producer. Its not the first foray into television production for the ultra sexy latina, with her Latin talent show with ex husband Mark Anthony doing the rounds at the moment.

The series will be written by its creators, Queer As Folk's Peter Paige and Brad Bredeweg, who will also serve as executive producers. No casting as of yet has been announced, but the network ABC Family is said to be fast tracking the project.
