Iconic Composer, Marvin Hamlisch Dies, aged 68

Today is a very sad day for the entertainment world, with iconic composer, Marvin Hamlisch passing away, aged 68 in Los Angeles.
The Tony Award Winner (A Chrous Line) died Monday after a brief illness its been reported by close family members. Other details aren't being released.
Hamlisch's career was phenomenal, running the gamut of film, Broadway and every thing in between. Hey won nearly every major award possible, including A Tony, three Oscars, and three Golden Globes and even a Pulitzer Prize. His music has left an impact on generations of people across the globe, including the mainstream fans of over 40 movies he worked on, which included Ordinary People, Sophies Choice and Take The Money and Run.
A news release from his publicist said he was scheduled to fly to Nashville this week to see a production of his hit musical, The Nutty Professor.
He will be greatly missed.
