The fabulously which is Fair Day Sunday 18th February , started as soon as we exited the car and were approached by a young man who offered us a "service" in the laneway in glebe a couple years ago .. considering it was the second time in 19 years that I have attended Fair Day as a boy and I still nearly got lucky, he made me feel like a dirty old man so we ran off to Park to join in the festivities... and this year fair day will RETURN to Victoria Park, City Rd Camperdown From 10am-8pm, just one of thousands the people sitting on a blanket in front of the main stage. It's a sign that I really am a nobody, nobody will recognised me or will they after being plastered all over the Liverpool & Fairfield Champion (the local paper) last year in and out of DRAG !! OMG !!

When Fair Day is over you know the Parade is soon to follow on 03 March . After walking and working the parade for 17 years, this year be any different lol As last year I watched the parade and enjoyed it so much now I'm getting older, it seems the route gets longer... despite offers to be part of a float, this will be the third year in a row that I will be watching the parade from VIP Area and dashing off to the party with my partner in crime to see CHER and some of the legends of drag .. my peers :) I just had too much fun last year at the Party out of drag so this year will be half boy half drag lol . I'd like to see more floats and social groups from the West be involved this year for the 40 anniversary for Mardi Gras, it seems everyone splits into other groups at Mardi Gras time when it should be a time that we unite?

draggossipWhich Western Sydney drag queen now feels the need to attack me/heaven just to promote something she's doing!! Last time I pay her for anything gorgeous.

In other gossip, which former Western Sydney drag superstar has been BANNED from all the Asian fabric shops?

Apparently, she was caught putting things in her bag while she was walking around the shop. Oh no!

Which Western Sydney Drag star might have bitten off more than she can chew by working up to 6 nights a week and is now sick? She is due to fly out the country at the of the month and then there is The Voice or should I say no voice at the moment! (Hope you get better asap!)

Until next time Gorgeous, BB

Have a Happy and safe Mardi Gras!

Y'all up for some more D.R.A.M.A? ;-)

Drama Drama Drama! (& Controversy) surrounding Richard's Got Talent #3

"Have you got what it takes to be Richards on the Park's next drag superstar '' ? Well it all finished on Friday the 10th November with 12 contestants competing over 4 months to take home $1000 + 6 Month residency at Showtime .

Who said there's nothing exciting happening in western Sydney With the contestants dropping out in droves and then there's the controversy with the favourite to win, being asked to leave RGT#3 at the last minute after failing to turn up for one of the heats after a loved one passed away. Whatever happened to COMPASSION?

Oh well it's their loss because she is fabulous and there is always bigger and better for her.. NOW with WINNER Assuma Gender and 2nd Runner up Holly Grail .. let's see if we ever hear from the winner again!?

Don’t forget 'Showtime' is still running on the third Saturday of the month , That's this Saturday 18th Nov from 9pm-3am and it's totally FREE.

WOW ... After 6 SELL OUT SHOWS at Campbelltown RSL, they’re back AGAIN!!! Drags To Bitches on the 25th November and it will sell out so be quick. So come and join us as we celebrate all that is DRAG and those fabulous BITCHES we all know and love.

For more info :

redribbon bevSo much has changed in our community but there is one day we should not forget and that is WORLD AIDS DAY 1st December and we should all reflect on the ones that we lost !! It's that time of the year where we put our differences behind us and come together and CELEBRATE everything ''DRAG" with the Drag Industry Variety Awards being announced to be returning in December, OMG after being nominated 8 times for the "Queen Of Hearts Diva Award" it's been fabulous to have won 3 times in the 21 years of doing drag , After I decided in 2013 To go in to semi retirement after doing (drag) for 21 years OMFG !! and I did not attend the 26th Annual Diva Awards. Last year NEVER to receive a nomination again as the queen of hearts award was removed in 2015 never to be seen again time will only tall, With this year's date for the Diva Awards locked in for the 4th of December it will be a lot different I guess as the Sydney Scene has changed a lot !?

Drag Gossip

As you all know - I'm a big believer of KARMA!

What goes around comes around! A certain drag queen is name dropping to get bookings and undercutting to take other drag queens bookings and they have not been around very long and most likely won't last very long ..''REMEMBER YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET"   (It's the same old storhy all over again and just a new face who does not know their rep will be riuined in a milli second!)

And with another queen/diva lol .. Ummmmm Cheater Cheater where'd you meet her, what western sydney drag queen can't keep it in her pants for 5 days cheated on her partner but then again what happens in Golum country stays in the land of the long white... "cloud" unless there's a trip to the doctor after lol where'd you meet her?  #meow

Until next time gorgeous! (12DEC)

Luv BB

2017 - New Beginnings

A brand new year and a brand new me ! WoW hasn't it started with a bang?

With over 350 people packing the auditorium at Mounties for "Drag In The New Year" by the show casts of Drags to Bitches what a fabulous show what a fabulous way to end the year and start the new year!

It looks like its going to be an interesting year in Western Sydney.

89.3Fm 2GLF is the local non-profit community broadcaster for the Liverpool and Fairfield region. Our programming covers all aspects of the community with local information, ethnic programming, specialist music and local event coverage. The station is run and managed by volunteers from the local area. In addition to the station FM broadcast, it is streamed on our website and all program are available On Demand for a four week period after broadcast  and have supported fabulous LGBTQ  Programs like : Out West And Proud Program , Lesbians On Air , Queer Out West & NOW Queer Radio Sydney over the last 35 Years.

By now you know that we have put Queer Out West to rest on 2 November I spat the dummy and cancelled the program for many different reasons? After Guide To Gay and the gay newspaper, SX, ran a story on the program I was inundated with feedback in regards to the need to continue with the program so I met with some of the presenters and ask them what they like to continue doing the program in a different format as I (Beverly) did not want to return to the studio weekly after doing the program for 15 years I feel new people need to step up.

So former Out West & Proud 89.3Fm and Queer TV Presenter  Pandora Box & Kitty Puss have agreed to come in fortnightly so I can have some time out.

Also Nikki Facchin and Jeremy Smith and Fifi Fo'Fum will return The NEW program Will be QUEER RADIO SYDNEY as from 16 January 10pm-12am On the Radio & Online

The first and third Monday of every month will be Beverly Buttercup, Nikki fashion and Jeremy Smith.

The second and fourth Monday of the month will be Pandora Box, Fifi Fo'Fum & Kitty Puss.

The fifth Monday = 29May, 31Jul, 30Oct 2017 will be just a music program with a special guest (LGBTI) Dj in the studio.

I look forward to hearing your feedback in regards to the new program which will mainly focus on supporting LGBTI singer/songwriter's Gay music with a little community info special guest interviews and a lot of fun along the way.

We will also be do a LIVE chat during the program every Monday night from 10pm-12am on

Not very often my GOSSIP comes true.

But this time it has with Palms West Social Dance calling it a day after 6 social dances they have decided to walk away after discovering you can't please everybody.

Two events in 2016 were still able to write a $1500 cheque for Twenty10 so that was pretty fabulous... don't you think?! but don't despair out with the old and in with the new?

The new you say???

There is a brand-new nights starting on Friday nights to replace the gap left by Palms it will be run by one of Western Sydney's baby drag /up-and-coming drag queen Victoria A Bitch.

The night will be call V-BAR at the Coolibah hotel, Merrylands from 20th Jan, 17Fab & 17Mar to start with from 7pm-12am $10 Shows 9:30 & 10:30pm with Dj Jay Cee, Fingers crossed it lasted longer than PWSD did at the Coolibah So come on Western Sydney you need get out and support the social events.

Also in other news...

After 7 years at the same club (OMFG) Heaven Social Dance make the big move to a NEW Club on 4th February @ Mounties Bowling Club, (5Minute Walk From Fairfield Train Station) from 6:30pm -12:30am $10 Shows 9:30 & 10:30pm Hosted By LayDee KinMee with PopUp Drag Upsized = Prizes 1st $100, 2nd $60, 3rd $40 who will take home the CASH with 4 fabulous performance lock in of the opening night.

Looks to be a big one so come and check it out new club we have the whole club to our self to party in.

We at  heaven look forward to celebrating 10 year this year supporting LGBTQ Community and hopefully  we can break our record of donations over $30,000 in 2017 with your support.

K is for Karma what goes around comes around, remember that Girls and Boys not mentioning any names  it has happened to all of us in the past. I could also say people in Glass Houses shouldn't throw stones. Being a bully and a hypocrite and spreading rumours does not make you popular...

Until next time gorgeous! Luv BB

So for now I leave you with my resolutions - what's yours?

(1) Discover who my real friends are.

(2) Do whatever makes me happy, And be with whoever makes me smile.

(3) Put me first this year

Franz Ferdinand To Launch Third Album At Gay Club

  • Published in Latest
Franz Ferdinand will launch their third album at London gay club Heaven.

The band, who will play tracks from Tonight: Franz Ferdinand at the venue on January 20, said they are fans of the gay scene in the capital.

"There is a great gay club in London called Horse Meat Disco. They've recreated New York in the 1970s," drummer Paul Thomson told Seattle Gay News.

Singer Alex Kapranos added: "I'd say the best club is Optimo. It's neither a gay nor straight club. A great mixture of music and fantastic DJs. It's very cool."

According to Heaven manager Mark Ellico, tickets for the performance sold out in 20 minutes.
