IF YOU SIGNED UP INITIALLY WITH FACEBOOK CONNECT - PLEASE LOGIN EACH TIME USING THE FACEBOOK CONNECT BUTTON

I HAVE VALIDATED MY ACCOUNT BUT CANNOT LOGIN

If it seems your ALREADY VALIDATED membership details (username and password) are not working, it may mean you have to reset your password.

Due to the nature of our site - if someone tries to log in falsely, or forgets their password, or if they system is attempted to be hacked or modified by an outside source - the system resets passwords to protect you and your information.

The quickest way to get back on the the site is to do the following:

Click "forgot password". Enter the email address you registered with.

You will be sent an email that includes a token.

Enter this token in the page, and you can choose to change or reset your password to the same one you had before.

We apologize if you get caught with this process, but your security is paramount to us.



If however you have done this step and your email is not valid, then your account has been deleted by an admin for some reason (usually a breach of our terms and conditions). IF you feel it has been removed in error, you can contact us via the contact page, please note - we usually take all steps to communicate with members BEFORE deleting accounts - so this would be incredibly rare.

Make sure you add @guidetogay.com to your email programs safe list

Then try - resend validation or forgot password option.
If this fails, please email us for assistance, with your username and make sure you contact us from the email account associated with your profile.

UNSUBSCRIBED FROM EMAILS

If you have unsubscribed from our email newsletters, then your account would have been terminated too.

It is a condition of membership on our site, that your email address is connected to your profile. You delete your email, you delete your profile.
This is because we operate as a social network, and we require your email to validate all requests. Our newsletter is built into this system.
If you would like to use our site again, you will have to rejoin.
We have no way of reclaiming any of your groups, submissions, photos, videos and other materials on your profile if you have deleted or unsubscribed at any time.

THE WEBSITE THINKS I AM A SPAMMER

We employ strict anti spammer technology. If you receive an error message when trying to register an account or logging in, it means your computer / ip address / email address is listed with the major BLACKLISTS. We recommend signing in with an actual factual email account (not one that could have been blocked on other forums and sites).

The databases we use to secure our site for our members include:

You can contact them if you think you have beemn listed unfairly - these lists not only service us - but many of the worlds other major websites.
