Ireland's Queen took to the stage tonight at the Chauval Cinema in Paddington to a sold out crowd for Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras festival.
Panti Bliss presented her bespoke production "Panti's Rooting For Australia" and it was one of the most riotous and funny shows Sydney has seen in a long time.
From her incredibly fast paced and spot on story telling - to incredible insight into Sydney's community, tourist culture and current day social climate - she had the audience rolling in the aisles with massive amounts of humour, intelligence and pop culture sophistication.
Showcasing a unique European style of Drag, Panti brought stand up, miming show, glamour, activism and realism to the stage in an hour and a half show that just flew by.
It is still quite a blur as the fast pace of talking that Panti did was captivating and made you feel incredibly comfortable; like you were a puppet in the hands of very experienced puppeteer.
Her show is a laugh riot and well worth seeing - in fact, we will go as far as saying that it is THE show of the Mardi Gras festival to see.
You have two more chances, tomorrow night (Monday) 29th Feb and Tuesday 1st March - some tickets are still on sale.
Drop EVERYTHING, no matter your plans and go and see Panti is Rooting For Australia at The Chavual Cinema, Paddington. All shows start at 7.30pm. $35 per ticket.
